Google has released a new algorithmic update Payday Loan 2.0 on May 20 2013. The original Payday Loan Algorithm had launched about a year ago on June 11 2013. Google spokesperson states that this new Payday Loan 2.0 algorithm is purposely developed to aim “Very Spammy Queries” which is not related to either Panda or Penguin algorithms.
Payday Loan 2.0 Update is for the websites which having excessive web spam and it penalize websites that contain spammy keywords like, “payday loans,” adult themed/pornographic keywords, insurance, accident claims and some other spammy keywords. Website with these keywords won’t be affected by this Payday Loan 2.0 Update. It only impacted 0.2% of English queries.
Payday Loan 2.0 Update is speculated that, Google has begun to expand their clean up of similar queries in other industries except “Pay Day Loans”.
